Cinzia Venegoni

Cinzia Venegoni

Born in Milan in 1960, she graduated in Sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She initially preferred the use of terracotta and patinated plaster casts with a figurative imprint. From 2000 to 2003 she worked as a tutor in the laboratory of the course in Ornamental Plastic of the Milanese sculptor Guido Lodigiani, at the University of the diploma. At the end of her experience in 2003 iron, metal and wood became the preferred materials for the new productions, where welding stands out among the used techniques. The figurative style becomes more naturalistic, continuing to denounce human suffering with a vein of hope, rebirth and survival. Muse at work and companion in the life of the founder of the Studio, Riccardo Rocchi, in addition to the participation and organization of private exhibitions, Cinzia collaborates with the Studio Rocchi Architettura as an artistic consultant designing and realising external and internal interventions.
