Riccardo Rocchi

Born in Milan in 1956, he soon decided that drawing would be the way of expressing himself. Riccardo graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan in 1980, while studying he decided to deepen and expand his knowledge by attending the course: “studies of interior architecture” at the IED in Milan, which allowed him to understand how to do develop architecture within spaces.

After his studies Riccardo started as an apprentice, not having friends or family from whom to learn in the field. Bellini, Magistretti, Gio Ponti, Luigi Caccia Dominioni are just a few of the names of the masters from whom he learned during the first years of his career. Later he identified himself with Frank O. Ghery’s work and his ability to shape metal and materials as if they were paper, transforming them into dreamlike architectures. In short, the embodiment of the motto that all architects should be inspired by: nothing is impossible. It was 1983 when he set up his own business and opened the STUDIO ROCCHI ARCHITETTURA MILANO.
